Default 2006 S2000 or 2005 Lotus Elise

What are your thoughts.

The Honda is less, but doesn't fit me as well as the Lotus.

Once in the Lotus I am okay, it is pretty raw inside.

This will be a weekend car, and would be surprised if it got more than 200 miles a month.

I'd say it primarly depends on your goals with the car. If you are an auto-x junkie, then you'd definetly want the Elise. If the car is for daily driving, and some autocrossing, the S2000 is the car for you. The Elise would suck as a daily driver. I would not want to get in an accident in an Elise.

I was behind one in the malibu canyons the other day. They are so much nimbler it is insane. I didn't push as hard bc i had a friend with me and i will never risk the life of someone else in any situation over the speed limits, but i was chasing pretty hard and had NO chance even at 9/10's

if you run over those mini parking block they have at p arking spots, you are $##@@$#@#. The s2000 would just get scrapes and some paint taken off but the elise would be $$$$$$. Its the lil stuff like that which worries me about getting an elise as a DD but you said weekend.

Why not a viper? Saw one at the shop today a 96 covert and looked sweet

If its a weekend car go for the Lotus. Handles better and is a little quicker and has more torque. Lotus is the shit when it comes to driving

The S2000 is an everyday sports car. Something you can use as a daily driver (and lots of us do). The Elise/Exige is a purpose built race car. For a weekend only car, you can't beat it.
