I would guess October/November with the West coast getting them earlier.

Last year there was a train derailment that I know effected delivery of Acuras, not sure if there were Hondas on there too (I believe so though which is why Hardtopguy was able to aquire some F22C's cheaply), so the 2005s came a little late. Assuming no delivery problems, 2006 S2000s should be here a little earlier than November.

I'm assuming you've never been in a rear-end accident. Headrests for what? To save your neck.

VSA can be turned off. Not all of us track the car in perfect weather all the time...

The rims are BARELY different than the current AP2 rims. I had to look twice before I noticed.

I think some people just want to hate the car because they don't want to feel like a chump for buying a previous model. I personally wish I would have waited for the 06, but I'm not going to bash now to justify.
Agree, I would bet for those bashers that eventually they will trade in and buy 06+ model and then praise about it. At that time, we couldn't know that those are the same guys who critize about 06 in this post

If you are jealous or envy, just say so.

Personally, I like 06. I am glad that I wait out for 06. Integrated speakers is WAY better than optional headrest speakers, more blend in. VSA, happy with it, save lifes. Trust me, you will thankful for that one day.

The only bad thing that I don't like is the rims. I prefer 04-05 rims anytime anyday.

Hey OZMusicJunkie, if you ever want to trade in your 05, let me know, OK? I like 06, but wouldn't mine buying used 04/05 to save some $$$.

I chatted a bit with the dealer when picked up my 06 brochure. New 06 should arrive at the dealership (at least the dealer where I picked up my brochure) around mid to late Oct 05.

How do we know that the car weighs 20 pounds more? Is that in the specs? Is there an extra cataletic converter? More weight is not good. I wonder if there is hidden power in the car or other changes of this nature.

Drive by wire can be ok too because I tested the new VW Golf GTI some ten days ago and there I didn't even think about it, didn't even notice it had DBW. Good throttle response and everything. I think Honda will get it right too. I mean, F1 race cars have used it since the early 90's. I believe McLaren-Honda were the first to use it in 1991 when Ayrton Senna was with the team.

The extra weight could be from any number of things. Possibly from the different rims (could be a little heavier), the headrest speakers add some sort of weight, the VSA and Drive by wire system ...

The fact that the car weighs 20 lbs more is in the specs. Who know why?

Boban, like your name. Zvonimir Boban, Croatian midfielder played for AC Milan (my favourite team) in mid 90s during the golden era of Don Capello along with George Weah. Is Boban your name?
