First off, if i over revved the motor wouldnt seize. Its fine though, the ignorance in some of your guy's post just show that your not knowledgable about our motors at all and are just giving out legal advice as if you know what your talking about when you dont.
Oh, and 1putt, im getting a brand new ap2 motor from a very reputable shop on this forum and he like every other tech whos seen my motor outside of acura is saying that my motor seized from oil starvation. Your posts are worthless too, i really wonder how you have time to bash my thread with your illogical and immature behavior; you must really have no life but its okay! U wont post in this thread after this, i promise
To the people who have helped, it was greatly appreciated. Once my engine is fixed i am going to have the old one torn down for a diagnosis with a middle man shop take pictures and write journal entries on the entire process. If i cannot sue for fraud it will be negligence.

I've lost count of the number of posters using the OP as a virtual pinata.
It would not surprise me if his S2KI expereince, and not the blown engine, leads him to replacing the car with a Buick or Volvo; might fare better on the forums for those.

Sorry to hear. Did the car have a clean carfax? Looks to me they sold you. What did the drained oil look like? Did they find coolant or water in it? If it was sold as-is, you probably have no other recourse unfortunately.
I doubt there's water in it. As some pointed out, the engine may have been seized due to thrust bearing run out of lubrication.
We can only speculate, using pictures provided, what happened. Who knows, maybe the engine was bad to begin with, maybe the engine was running fine until one part finally failed.
Sometimes, although rare, parts froim the factory may not be built up to standards. For example, a bearing may be defective out of the factory and slipped through the test sample in quality check. This component may perform fine, but it would be bound to go wrong any time under abnormal stress. This happens all the time and that's why warranty are offered. It's just unfortunate that it happens to people sometimes immediately outside of the warranty period. This is one of the costs and risks of owning vehicles. Just as we are all exposed to being ticked by cops or be involved in a motor-vehicle accident just from driving on public roads, our cars are also exposed to risks of failures under normal usage.

There's been a little recognition of this, but I think it's important to point out directly.
Sold AS-IS, means no warranty. It doesn't absolve the dealer of responsibility to sell a certified and safety tested used car necessarily.
Different regions of have different laws, but just because a dealer isn't providing a warranty doesn't mean they aren't responsible if they sell you a product that will not perform as they claim it does.
