For the price you pay for the CR you can make "just an s" way better than a CR in every category. Unless you want the newest models out, but AP1 FTW!

I disagree. Maybe at sticker price, but now they are selling used for just about the same as a standard S2000.

well i meant used early year s2ks like 00-05, something that's over $10k cheaper than a CR.

Get this, and cut some holes in it on all 4 windows...well add in a plastic rear window.

Thats about what it looked like when I drove my old MGB Roadster to work with just the softtop frame (no replacement top yet) and I had to rig up a big blue tarp so I didn't soak my interior...lol.

That is true, but an 08 CR and an 08 will be very close in price used. But then again they were not that far apart new, unless there was dealer mark up.

but I do agree you can get a steal of a deal on a used, high mileage 00-01 for about 7-10K

I like the CR hardtop, but don't care for the wing. Not sure about the front bumper, either. The base S is plenty firm for the street imo. Both versions need upgraded brakes. If I could get either one for the same price, I'd prob get the '08 CR (just for the hard top), although it will likely have a smaller potential buying audience when you try to sell down the road.

Depends really man yea u could go with some coils and what not but I think the CR suspension is just right great for track use if u wanted but not harsh as a DD at all. I have had coils on differnt car before and dam they are good on turns but not good on my butt for a DD. But also got to figure all the other things hardtop, interior which i love, wheels,i like the new style of the S too. So for me yea sometimes i whised i would have saved some money and got just a AP2 but than agian im the only one in my city that has a CR so thats nice

What do you guys do typically when driving on the interstate Top down, and it starts pouring rain? Go faster or stop and put up the top hoping not to get soaked?
