Mobil1 104 and K&N 1004 oil filter are not too bad. I have been using them with positive result. But the average price is $11.50 each compare to ome filter.

So can anyone confirm with certainty that our PCX filters are going away? I've done a search and it seemed like the same question was asked back in 2003 or so, but obviously the rumors turned out to be false since we've had it all along. But what about now?

And if so, perhaps Honda deemed the generic filters adequate for our cars as long as we maintain it every 3750 miles or so?

Oreilly's and Napa both sell WIX filters and they are actually rated better than OEM. Plus they are recommended by my mechanic over the OEM filters, not to mention it's what he's using.

(FYI - the NAPA Gold filters are made by WIX)

H and A has them as well. In a six pack for $41. Not a bad price. Ordering mine today.

Sorry man - I just started using them and I do not have that. The rep at a Napa should be able to look it up easily.

Just remember the oil plug washer won't be included.
