Default 2008 S2000 in Phoenix

Hello everyone,

I am not sure if this the right place to post this.

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/ctd/4534004707.html

Does anyone know anything about this car or seen it. I am currently out of the country and will not be back til the end of July.

Do you know how much it would cost to bring it back to stock?

Thanks

Depends on how meticulous you want to be..

-OEM 08 wheels are gonna be ~$800 or so depending on the market..

-Hoods can be had decently priced as they're all the same but then it would need to be painted.

-Spoiler can be removed for free assuming its just double sided taped on.

-Rear diffuser and side diffusers can just be removed as well, but the side diffusers could have been screwed in which would leave holes in the underside.

-Looks like the center console and dash trim has been painted black, the center console cup holder cover is usually silver like the radio door. That console runs $300-$350 used.

-The grille is also aftermarket, depends if the stock one is in behind it or not, can also be removed.

-And lastly it has clear side markers from a CR model, they're amber on the rest, but those are cheap. I would ask for engine pics and see what else may be modified.

Seems a bit high for a modded car like that. I paid $27 for an 09 in Phoenix 2 years ago with 31K miles bone stock and perfect condition.

You don't want that car. I saw it in person a few days ago. It is in pretty poor shape.

In addition to what you can see in the pictures the paint is in very poor shape, and the engine have so no name intake that isn't even for an S2000 that is jury rigged in place. Your money would be much better spent elsewhere.

Thank you everyone for your input. Looks like I have to wait a little longer to find my S.

Rule of thumb- stay away from poorly modified cars. You don't want a car who was owned by someone who doesn't know enough to know that they are making bad decisions. To stereotype here- they typically drive like they mod. No offense meant towards anyone with those wheels or that wing.

With that price range, you could easily find a better conditioned one...
