those are great numbers but to clarify stock means stock meaning no performance mods whatsoever.

That's maybe 4whp higher than what I'd expect, but still within "spec". And yes, that K&N drop in filter definitely can be good for 2-3whp gain. I put down 205.4whp on a dyno dynamics, which reads a bit lower than a dynojet. In a loose estimate, I would have put down around 210-211whp with just an AUT cooling plate and K&N drop in on an otherwise stock AP2.

Good numbers!

Where do you guys dyno really? No stock s2000 should be making more than 205 whp @ an accurate dyno.

Different kinda of dyno machines yield different numbers. Dynapack dynos require the removal of the rear wheels - less rotational intertia translates into higher numbers.

Dynapacks dyno higher than Dynojets. It's normal. From reading lowest to highest it's: Mustang Dyno<Dynojet<Dynapack.

dynapacks always read higher. that's because you dyno without the wheels on, so it shows more hp. since the car doesn't have to deal with the rotating mass of the wheels, it makes it look like you're making more power.

dynapacks are good for tuning though.

At most the dynapack will read 10% higher than a dynojet. I made 235rwhp with the Invidia exhaust, so on a dynojet it should be no less than 211.5rwhp.

Nonsense.

My absolutely stock '04 (well, it does have an aftermarket head unit, and DOT4 brake fluid) did 219 uncorrected, 210 corrected, on a dynojet dyno. I think that's fairly standard for an AP2.

You're confusing AP2s with AP1s.
