PS is the german abreviation for PferdeStaerke which means horsepower.

 

PS to HP is not 1:1 - I believe it is about 1 HP = 1.015 PS

 

Thus Euro cars have about 237 HP.

 

HP = 1.01387 PS for those who want to be really picky

 

We all want to be picky, as a matter of fact...this car attracts nit-picky bastards...hehe (me included). It also attracts slackers (Lips2000,) for some odd reason...lol. Just kidding.

Don't you mean 246.58 HP? If Euro/JDM stooks have 250PS then that means they have 246.58HP, and the extra 6 horsepower makes sense given that they are using higher compression ratios, right?

So bottom line, if you feel like you're missing out, get an exhaust and an air filter.

 

Or move to Europe... You can drive your car faster there as an added bonus.

250 hp on a 5000 mile car at the engine
220 at the wheels...
hp depends on where you measure it and, with this car, how many miles (both in europe and in the states)!!!
