Default 265/35 Rear...pics comments

Although I like the look of the bigger tire on the S2000, I am curious by the consequences of doing so. How did this work for you???

Thanks,

I think its a good look personally. I'm looking into 18'' BBS rims that have 9.5'' in the rear! Thats plenty big for 265, but i might try to sqeeze a 255 on for less roll. Go for it!

I have this size mounted on my HRE's. The combined weight of the HRE wheel and 265/35 tire is 1lb less than my OEM wheel and 225/50 S-02. So I mananged to shave a pound and increase grip! The look from the rear of the car is nice as the tire is wider. From the side it is definitley low profile... Also, carefully consider the wheel offset, you don't want them to stick out beyond the body.

Here's what it looked like before I lowered it with the Tein's...you'll just have to imagine it 1" lower at each corner.

I know of 2 people that are running 275s and 265s on the stock rear wheel....yes its tight but they fit.

I do not have any pics but they use them as track tires....one is lowered and one is stock height.
