Having a problem with 2nd gear. I have a 2004 with 7500 miles. Occasionally, while stopping in 2nd gear (with the clutch in) the shitfer pops out of gear and in to neutral. I also find that when the engine is cold, that going into 2nd gear is not that smooth. Anyone had similar problems? I haven't talked to the Honda dealer yet - thought I would ask the real experts first. Any help would be appreciated.

It's now on TSB.
If 2nd gear pops out while deaccelerating, your gear set is bad.
I also fixed the same problem under warranty.

why would you stop in 2nd gear with the clutch in??? just put it in neutral and (or first if you're not planning on being stopped long) all is well?

I've had the same problem since I bought mine. Didn't know there was a TSB yet. (d'oh) I suppose I'll make a appointment this week.
