To give you an idea of cost and performance check out my sig...
I have about $15,000 in my car but that's considering all parts. If you go SC with stock ECU you probably are looking at around 280hp and 175 lbs trg at the wheels. You should upgrade the clutch. So $8,000 is a good guestimate.
