if it's of any consequence, I just finished my first year of college with a 93 del sol... now, it's not the same as an S2000, but it's a small, two seater roadster... and to be honest, I can't think of any reason I wouldn't want it... it's just so much better to have a car you love, and that is fun to drive, and a wonderful stress release when you take it for a spin

by the way, I go to UCBerkeley

I find it interesting that Jason did not consider the comparable BMW roadster! Could you explain why you didn't look at the Z3 3.0?

In any case, enjoy your new car!

in a race i barely pull away from him

It was either used or your friend bought a 325ci and somebody told him it was a 330ci. No way in hell that he got a 330ci fully loaded for that price. Show me the sales slip or give me the name of the dealer. I am still looking for a 330 convertible. No BMW dealer is willing to lose money on a car unless he likes to not feed himself and his family.

I ain't Jason, but I read his mind.

Z3 3.0:
1) Higher price tag, less performance in some way.
2) Plastic rear window
3) 6 yr old design
4) Plastic rear window

A stick 330 would be a lot closer considering they run 5.8 to 60 and the 1/4 in 14.1 a lot of S2000 drivers don't have the balls to drop the clutch from the correct rpms so they usually lose.
