IMO you should go rent an S2000 for a week or so, so you get a real feel of the car. this car isn't for everyone.
Interesting...Where m I suppose to rent the S.....
I totally agree with your 350z is DD and S is the weekend car...
S give me a cockpit feeling...thats what I am concern
seems like a tiny room to me..

try PMing 9Kfever...he's a moderator on this site. he had an S2000, traded it in for a 350Z, and traded back to an S2000.
practicality, you would be surprised, trunk space is pretty small in both cars, but i saw on 5th gear (not top gear, the crappier one) they tested the two together, and liked the S better, and said it has more trunk space than the Z actually.
Also if you take the spare tire out and leave the panel out, and take out the spare tire tools, you get what i would consider a decently sized trunk! lol
One more thing, if you want to stand out get an S2000, if you go out one day, count the number of Z's and count the number of S2ks you see. Given i live in a pretty good area of DFW, i see about the same amount of bentleys and Mercedes SL's as i do s2ks, and i see as many 350Z's as i do Mustangs.. yuck

yeah i had the same problem, i wanted to get a 350z. the handling on the S is a lot better then the Z but the Z that i drove was a 2003 and it was a rough ride and the power wasnt so great also the car was a auto
but yeah i think u will be happy with the S2K

I had 03 350Z track.... and i didn't like it.... I had AP1 S2000 then 350Z then back to AP2 S2000.
my Z had many small issues such as window motor issue, clicking noise; many TSBs... which drove me nuts!
S is definately more fun to drive. In my opinion, fit & finish on S was far better than Z.

I test drove a Z convertible before buying my S and they definitely are two very different cars. It was raining when I drove the Z and it definitely didn't feel planted. I must admit though the Z had some crappy no-name brand tires on it and I'm sure that didn't help.
