350z for s2k
considering the condition of your car.. I think its good for you. private parties are goign to grind you down for the problems, and you have to disclose the information about the tranny, paint, etc. And if something goes wrong with the car in the future, and they say you didnt tell them about the tranny or something, things "can" go wrong.( Im not saying they will)
I would say that you do the deal, then go to a company like www.peoplefirst.com and refinance that car note. get it down to about 5.19 Interest and you will save $45 dollars a monh, or almost $2,200 bucks over the 48 months. Not bad.. that interest rate is CRAZY..

From what I can see the market price in my area it is about the same private or dealer sales. Similar cars all run right around 28.8k. This may be due to being in florida. This is what I found on autotrader that is.

Well I will be going there later on this evening. So we will see what happens. I think this will be less headache in the long run than to sell the car privately. I really do like the S so its somewhat of a toss up. See when they look at trade in they only look at market value and unforuntely the market isn't there for the Z as I expected. Too many lower miles Z's for a better price. So to save me repaying taxes this could be the better route. But I may be having buyers blindness, thats why you guys need to be the judgemental ones. Pop said its a pretty good deal, and he loves crunching numbers, soo I don't know. Thanks for all the help thus far by the way.
Well guys, I am back from the dealer and I am now a proud owner of a Sebring Silver S2000. It is awesome. Kinda twitchy at highway speed but fun. Havnt had much time driving but basically I paid 28.9 for it and they gave me 28k for my car. At 6% interest rate. All in all not too bad. I will post pics tommorrow YAY
lol well I am bringing this thread back from the dead. It is funny some of the things you say when you are younger, however 5 years later I still have my S and the smiles never went away
Selling the Z was the best decision I ever made lol. Here are some picks of it 5 years later, man it feels like I just bought the car yesterday.
