4.44's
Sorry, no naked pictures of your mom, you F$&^ing pervert! I just wasn't getting any views on my post, figured I'd change it up a little and see if that helped. Anyway...
I've decided to go with a 4.44 final drive in my car. I was hoping some of you 4.44 guys could help me out with a good place to purchase them. I know Motorclasse has been running a groupbuy, but they've been out of stock for a while now. You know how it is when the mod bug bites, you've just got to have it right NOW! Any advise on where to buy, or help with what gears actually fit would be greatly appreciated. I would assume you could just go to the Mazda/Kia dealership and purchase a gear, if you knew exactally what car the gear came out of. I was even thinking of going over to the RX8 site and trying to pick up an old gear from someone that went with a taller gearset. Is it correct that an RX8 gear (which I believe is 4.44) will fit an S2000? Thanks for any information you can give to point me in the right direction. I'll be sure to post the customary "I got gears" thread once I get them installed
HAHAHA.

The RX8 gear doesn't fit i'ts too long I believe. There are several earlier models that the right 444 gears came in. There's even a chart on here somewhere with mazda part #'s and Kia's too. Use search.
You can get jcarlton to cryo your case gears etc. and make it stronger for around a 120 bucks.
I'm having some 457r's put in now. When they put the new diff in, come down and try it.

fltsfshr: Did you order the "Bolt 'n' Go" package from Rick's or are you actually having them installed? I'm looking for a good local shop to do the installation, so let me know how it goes. I decided to go with gears and reinforced diff before jump right into a supercharger. Let me know if you think the 4.57's are too much with the supercharger, that's was my main reason for looking at 4.44's. Thanks.
Reds2: Thanks for the website, I'll check it out.
