Default 4.56 gears

i just got my 4.56 gears installed and i just past 300 miles and i cant belive the difference. the car feels like it pulls hard when its not even in vtec! and once vtec hits it feels crazy fast. i also have not noticed a single bit of gear wine! Just thought i would share with you guys. i am extremly happy with this mod and i recomend it to everyone that wants to make their s2000 alot funner to drive!

Just don't wheel hop or you'll get the wine. Mine has been like this for about two years now. Waiting for it to break so I can go with the rear end swap.

Whine is the installers job assuming the gear is good. The installer should be able to tell.

I think we did Nate's install for him as a core exchange.

yes true that. no whine on my 4.56's (well maybe a very slight sound ... but nothing bothersome) and certainly nothing that dtracts from the fun experience.

Rick's (Stratocaster representing) did the gear install into the diff. Billman did the swap of the diffs for me. we returned the core to rick's. Relatively easy process. Totally worth the price & the work to get it done.

Put it in the books as one of the great S2K mods...

For me I like the performance enhancement of the 4.56's and the new usability of all 6 gears!

IMHO this (4.56) is the way the car 'should' be geared out of the factory... depending on your needs the 4.77's are a bit more agressive...
