i can keep up with one til about 60-70. then they start to walk away.

fyi for socal people, just asked local s2000 diff shop for quote. 250 in labor and it takes one day.

just be sure that they are experienced with stuff like this. diff gears are way more complex than headers and intakes. tolerances are vital.

dyhppy, does that price include remoiving the diff or would you have to take it to them already out?

$250 for a day's work,is only $30.00 an hour.

Definitely doing this mod in the future. I thought the RPMS were significantly higher in 6th gear at any time. Woo hoo discussed a bajillion times and I finally get convinced!!

does anyone have these gears or any other type or final drive on their AP2 i'm curious to see what the already shorter gears on the ap2 combined with an even lower final drive would perform. also is there anyway to swap 6th gear out for the rsx type-s 6th gear or the TL 6th gear? they are taller ratios and people on clubrsx that do the type-r final drive usually install the tl 6th gear to help with highway MPG. could the same be done on a S2000?

the 6th gear size is limited to small tranny space we have under the car. it has been discussed b4 and is not possible as far as i know. if it were, it would be quite nice to have an overdrive gear.

hehe "technically" 5th and 6th are overdrive gears.
