It will never happen. Only Ford was stupid enough to do that and they finally admitted their mistake (by making the T-Bird a 2 seater again.) I believe I remember seeing a 4 seat Vette in the first test models. GM decided quickly that it was a bad idea.

Was a time Lotus made a wonderful roadster, the original Elan. Then they made a "fixed head" coupe. Then they made it a 2+2. Then they replaced it with the Europa, then they came out with the true precursor to the M-coupe, the Elite. If you want an idea what a
backbone chassis 2+2 is like, look at an Elite. Then run away.

Baaad idea. Anyone who needs a 2+2 isn't going to be real happy with the character of this engine and tranny; they really want a
slushbox anyway.
