400 pound weight capacity?
I was thumbing through the owners manual last night and I was shocked to see that. I'm 190 pounds and most of my friends are my weight or heavier. I thought I bought a car...not a go-cart.
Does the BMW M Roadster, Z3, Audi TT or Porsche S Boxsters have similar weight capacities?
A lady friend of mine has a M Roadster and she says there is nothing like that in her literature.....at least that she's seen.

I can't speak for BMW, Audi or Porsche, but if you think about it, 400 lbs. is really pretty normal for a two-seater. And quite honestly, if someone weighs much more than 200 or so, they probably won't fit comfortably in those seats.
That being said, my father squeezed himself into my car when I took him for a ride, and he's probably on the high side of 250, and I'm 170, so we were exceeding the capacity, without any noticeable change in ride comfort.
But I am curious to know what the weight capacities are of those other two-seaters, anyone?

i had my friend in the passenger seat and my other friend in the trunk today. My friend who was in the trunk was a big kid too, probably like 240. (he is short, thats why he fit) So my s2k held like 590 pounds today. It was only for like 4 blocks, but i didn't notice really any difference in the ride. The car was slower though.
