489 rwh at 19.3 psi
Man, that is cruelty to small creatures - the ASPCA will be looking for ya!
I got 30 dyno runs to make 500+ BHP, 438 at the wheels with 8.5 psi. But that is with an 4.6L DOHC engine designed from the gound up to take that and much more (forged crank, Manley rods, iron block, ARP bolts, forged pistons, 8.5 CR, etc). Some guy is making reliable 800+ rwhp with a Kenne Bell and NOS on this thing and has not blown anything. Amazing.
I wonder if you are going to make your goal in a small engine never designed for such huge boost. And with what reliability? Maybe I am chicken, but every time I goosed it I would be cringing.
Gotta give you credit for trying.

I applaud your tenacity. I also must say that you have to have balls that clank to keep trying after blowing up that many times. Maybe the next time will be the magic number you are looking for.
