Uh oh, thats REALLY good news. I would of pissed in my pants to hear a loud pop when Im strapped to the dyno.

Alex,

can you provide the copy of the 489 whp dyno run.

can you also have them perform a compression test on all 4 cyl.

wow, a bunch of tuners that does not know the difference between hitting the rev limiter and a motor blowing up...I think its a good idea you move on from them. Also what kind of dyno are they using that gives them the crank hp??or was it converted. I would still check the motor to see if there was any damage from you hitting the rev limiter.

Alex, do you know what your car put out at the wheels. We always use numbers for data and I just want to compare some dyno numbers. Also, I would not go back to those guys. By the way you described the story.
