I admire your initiative to max out the F20C motor. I am interested in doing the same thing. I agree with Fperra that water injection will help control pre-detonating run on street gas but also has a side affect of increase cylinder pressure which translates into more power. I think everyone would be most interested in hearing more about your setup.

Dude, that sucks. Alex, did you find out what caused the detonation? What is because of the build of the motor? failure of a parts on the motor? or bad tuning? Have the guys taken the motor apart yet? You are the closest so far to the magic 500 whp mark. 489 to the wheels. That's damn close.
