Yeah, as soon as I see a pic. I'd most likely be interested in a red one. If you're taking down names, better write mine down too!

Okay, right now im picking my brain, trying to see how a counter sunk shiftknob can be stopped without the use of a nut since the thread wil be no longer visible like the OEM one. Pics of the 5speed model for other vehicles will be available torward the end of this month.
Thank you

Hello,
if the quantity is met (200) pieces, they can be made by the end of November to early december.

Great idea, but that will cause damage to the shifter itself, and it might have an effect on the overall finish of the shiftknob.
I will keep that in mind though!

I would be so into this, but I prefer to make it lower as stated before. Making the knob lower shortens the throw a negligible amount, but it feels a lot shorter . You can do it by removing the locking nut and drilling a hole in the side/back of the knob, al la' MOMO, but I prefer to shorten the stalk itself. Making both available would be a great start. I think the OEM '00/'01 knob will be the best one to make, it looks cleaner and fits the car better, although the new one with leather will not be as hot.

Let us know, I'm in.

Andrew

With the Voodoo knob, you screw on until the shift lever bottoms at the end of the thread inside the shiftknob. If you want to have the knob laser engraved, you first have to screw the knob on tight, mark the orientation on the knob, and then send it off for the engraving. If your new shiftknob will have a gear pattern or logo on it, you'll either have to make it with a removable cap (which can be taken off and repositioned), or consider having buyers extend the length of thread on the shift lever so they can still use the nut for tightening.

They make illuminated shift knobs for retro cars and PT's:

The idea for these ones should be similar.
