500+ mile S2K weekend drive
To my fellow Snowbound S2K brethren, please allow me to apologize first. Sorry.
To recover from the holiday stress, my wife and i drove down the California coast via 101 to Highway 1 from San Jose to San Luis Obispo for a 2 day dirve. I could not believe that it was December. We drove top down the entire trip, and the temps were from 50-74 degrees. the car handles great on the twisties, and nice and smooth everywhere else. That was great news considering I have over 12k on the stock tires. Anyways, 500 miles later, after great food and winetasting, I am home "debriefing" to you all. Wow. This car never ceases to amaze me...and yes, people still come and talk to me about the car everywhere else I go (except Bay Area) and no, I did not see any other S2K's on the central coast. (a z3 did speed up to catch up with me when I was cruising, but somehow he just couldn't pass
I wonder why...)
Ok, I am now done making those in the snow feel bad, but i figured c3 does it all the time... =) **I'll post pics ASAP.

I wish i could drive with the top down:P...its about 15-30 degrees here...snow on and off...wont be able to take my S2K off to college either because it will only suffer in Cambridge where its even colder and snows more...

Did the grind first time in the S2K from LA to OR and back again. 1500 miles in 4 days (well 2 days if you count drive time). Doubled the ODO count. Driving too close to slo-pokes doubled the rock-chip-intake. Time for a wax and then off to AZ for some new twisties.
