What hit the hood? The wastegate or one of the high arm on the manifold?

The thing to remember about big projects like this is it is never easy. It is literally, blood (millions of cuts, bruises, soreness from working), sweat (need I say more) and tears: I've had a very similar bumpy ride that Alex has had. I've just had the good fortune to only have been screwed in terms of money (and many times less than Alex), while the car kept moving forward (not to say anything negative about cjb or Mike Simon or Honda or anything, I've dealt with totally different people, and I'll share my story soon enough).

Not to scare people away from a journey like this, but just be aware that being on the frontier will ALWAYS be filled with experiences with grizzly bears and (to be un-P.C.) indians.

Hygiene,

Though you may be right about Alex not doing his research, I think you should be fully aware of what your saying.

I think every person in this area knows how much Race Related is a shit box. Countless times I have talked to people who have nothing but the worst things to say about that shop. Never have I heard anything remotely close to good things about that place. I mean, I know for a fact they recommended a 100+ shot for Alex's car. IT WASN'T EVEN DIRECT PORT! Just a nozzle in the intake. You really want to give a shop like that credibility....

And as for the 500hp daily driver. What makes you so sure it can't be done? As of now, ChrisD's car is running just fine, and the tuning is still continuing. It is completely realistic to have such a car exist. Until you begin on such an endeavor, I suggest you keep the criticism to a low....

Nick

The week that my engine blew because of Race Related, The owner James admitted to me that he also blew 2 other cars. A Honda prelude and a Acura Integra. He set up their NOS wrong also. I have met up a lot of people that have been screwed by them there experience was for a lot less money than mine. Oh yeah and James still has my brothers boxer which I gave to him and still I didn't take him away from that place > his name is Caesar call him by that name if you see him he gets real happy..

Hey you guys are right I am to blame. I didn't do my research I thought if you paid good money they will do good work, not promises. My field is jewelry not gold and Diamonds I run my parents store and I am a certified gemologist. I can tell you anything about diamonds but not cars. I am learning though.
