Ruexp67, you're simplifying the choices way too much. You can study all you want but at some point you have to trust a mechanic. I see at least one owner posted right above me who must be happy with nitrous. Sure, maybe it was "done right." But i still don't see why you're knocking this guy for not knowing enough.

I have a pain in my side. I think I'll go to the doctor......

WTF? They pulled the wrong kidney!

How in the hell can you prevent a grave mistake like that? You can't. You can try. Sometimes, It just happens.
I don't care who you think you are or who you think you know and how much you know. Shit happens to even the most informed, intelligent, rich people.
I have toiled over many complex decisions in my lifetime. Talked to the experts. Studied the good, the bad. and the ugly and still fell flat in the mud.
Of course, when it's a hobby and not life or death, it takes on a whole new meaning....Hobbyholic

Hobbyholic,

Regardless of fault or blame, I'm really sorry to hear about your situation. Having gone down the mod route myself -- with a bit more success, fortunately -- I have huge sympathy for where you are. I hope it all works out.

I'm really sorry to hear about your S2000 nightmare. It's one of the worst stories that I've read on the site. I hope you will get back the fire-breathing monster that you have dreamed of, when this ordeal is finally over!

My only experience with cjb80 has been a very good one (so far). He is having a custom carbon/kevlar radiator panel manufactured for me, at my request, and has been very good about providing info, and making sure that the quality meets with my approval. I havent received the panel yet, but it appears that cjb80 is doing me right, so I thought I should post about it. I will let everyone know how it turns out.

Cjb80 is good at doing carbon fiber he has the right guy..I bought an awesome hood and radiator panel cover. He is experimenting with turbo manifolds. And the fact he wouldn't help me the day I found out the kit was junk..

Things that are wrong with the kit...ready the waste gate put a dent on my hood..The manifold is pined against the frame so the engine cant torque...the down pipe was loose and had exhaust leaks....the the flange to the block was warped and leaked exhaust....the waste gate had a 1/8 inch gap and never sealed...the pipes were 1/4 inches or less away from some critical parts...all of the piping would not have been able to hold any pressure before coming off...the turbo had no support...and many many Moore things ....it is sick I pissed this money away....He owes me..Alex
