87-year-old grandma gets into an S2000
I haven't posted in a few years, but this was too cool not to share. My grandmother has been unable to walk more than a few steps at a time without assistance for 2 years. She had back surgery 6 months ago, and after rehab, this happened yesterday... I went to take her to lunch for Christmas, but her car wouldn't start... so we tried the S2K...

Very cool.
I take my 81 year old mom for rides in my S2k top down in nice weather, I let her pick a place to see or go. And believe it or not, she just loves 9000 rpm..... just not too much....
She's been practically housebound for 2 years, O2 dependent and very frail.
She nearly passed this past June due to a fall. After a 2 weeks of hospice, then a month of rehab, she lives with me now. She gave up her '03 Accord so I try to take her places when she needs to get out of the house.

My mother was still living, with a fair bit of support, in her granny flat beside my house,
until after her 98Th birthday.
I regularly took her for a picnic at one of the recreation areas at the local dams.
She loved getting out, top down for a run. It reminded her of runs in my Morgan +4 almost 50 years before,
& the 1936 Pontiac roadster she & dad had before the war.
Towards the end she preferred my Mercury Capri, with it's softer ride & lower doors. She was only 5Ft 1 inch, & seemed to shrink even smaller in later years, & could barely see out of the S.

She gets into the car the exact same way as I do, no difference
You should have taken her for a top down ride and let her blue hair blow in the wind lol
