8900 Redline? LOL
Guys help me understand this. My brochure from America Honda Motor Co. Inc. says the S2000 redlines at 9000. What do you guys think? I only have an RSX so please don't flame me with Import Tuner jokes and the such, I know your car is better. Thanks!

Or did Honda make one S2k that did not go to 9000 rpm?

" High- Performance technology usually trickles down from racing cars to street cars, with the S2000, there was a flood. Its 2.0 liter 16-valve VTEC engine redlines at an incredible 9000 rpm"........and it goes on and on.
Has Honda not been practicing truth-in-advertising? I am confused now

It's always everyone saying how cool it is to have a 9k redline. There is a clear picture of the tach in the brochure and the red starts at 9k so who knows, just looked funny.
