Yes it is true that the redline is at 8900.
But isnt it also true that our cars DO rev to 9000+ ?
And that puts them in an elite group that only includes maybe one or two others (e.g. Ferrari 360)
I think the rev limiter - which I often hit - is at at least 9200.
So which is the important fact?
- when the tach advises you to change gears OR
- how fast you are revving just as you do change gear.
