I hope this isn't jacking the thread, but I am finding autocross launches in my '05 to be painfully slow with LOTs of clutch slippage. I was thinking about doing the delay valve mod but was told it would take my car out of the Stock class. I'd like to be able to stay stock autoX, but don't know if I want to burn up my clutch to do it. I doubt there is a decent launch technique with the valve in. Tony
I don't know if it takes you out of stock class or not since I am no longer in stock anyway, but I would just conveniently 'forget' I had done it..the 03 slave is a direct replacement BTW.. I found autocrossing impossible with the valve in place, and not just relative to launching.
The guys over in the competition forum know far more about the rules than I do, I'm pretty much a casual part-timer.

Good luck and drive safe, Mike
