About to get some shoes on.. but question about tires...
Since stock tires sizes are different.. (wide rear)... does it mean that i would have to get same size tires... or set-up.. (wider rear tire) on my new rims?
I'd refer you to The Wheel and Tire forum. Jim should be able to help you there.

P.S. the Tire-Rack website can offer sizing guidelines. For example, it reccomends 225/45R17 for 17X7 inch, but since the OEM SO-2 is wide for a 225 I'd go with a 245/40R17, which will give you the same overall circumferance, or damn near it. Howeber, be sure to talk to JIm, he knows this a lot better than I do, and don't rely on my advice alone; it's just to get you in the right direction.
Edit: oh, for the front rims, go with a 205 width tire. something like a 50 series sidewall, so 205/50R17. It's slightly taller than the OEM, but as close as it's going to get.
