I'm definately going to Zaino my S soon...I've had it about a month now. Is there any sort of timeframe I should or shouldn't Zaino in for a brand new S? I don't want to screw up the clearcoat or paint by Zainoing to quickly....

BTW, still building up with that VTECing, had it up to about 6500 this weekend (but the roads are a bit wet so I'm being a bit careful). May try for 8000 later this week. hehehehe. [/B][/QUOTE]

Whatever you do, resist the temptation to vtec in any moisture. I learned that lesson by doing several 360's into the median. Lucky, I didn't kill anyone or myself. I didn't hit anything.

As far as Zaino goes - you can use the Dawn as the lubricant for the clay bar - it works fine. The claybar was way easier than I anticipated.

Put on extra coats of polish - as many as you can. You'll know you have enough coats on when your neighbor asks you why you're such a freak about waxing your car.

Okay...did the wash with Dawn, then the claybar using the diluted dawn as the lubricant. Then did Z1, after that added the Z2 to the whole car. Waited. and then toweled it all off. Sprayed the Z6 and dried. Now if I want to add another coat of Z2 I suppse I have to Z1 again and then Z2 or just Z2? Or do I Z6 again before and then Z2? Or just Z2? Help?

Looks good.

And just FYI, since ZFX was mentioned...

Using ZFX, you could do those three coats in a single day. Actually, within a couple hours or so. I wouldn't worry about it now, but if you decide to order the wash, or when you run out of Z6, you might consider it. It is pricey and you'll be wondering if you really got what you ordered when you get it (tiny bottle, half full). But it does last quite a long time, using only a few drops at a time.
