Default ABS kicking in when stopping?

Hey i am about to buy a use s2k.
When braking, you can feel abs kicking in slightly as you stop. is there any way you can fix this problem? It happens sometimes only. Is it an expensive fix?

Um...pull out the abs module? And I've never noticed abs to ever be "slight", it's either working, or it isn't.

It could just need new rotors and/or pads. You might be digging in too hard to stop due to a lack of either/or.

This happened to my truck. Every time I touched the brakes the ABS would be trippin like no tomorrow. I needed a new wheel bearing and ABS sensor on it. I got lucky and that only cost me $290 to fix, I hope this helps.

Sometimes it's just a dirty sensor. They're magnets and pick up metal shavings and grime which prevent them from detecting wheel revolution. Then they think one wheel is slipping and activate ABS. If you search, there are some threads with pictures and DIY on what they are and how to clean them.
