A few days later now, I feel a bit better, knowing that things could be better,
but also could turn out worse...

It was all my mistake,
I should have driven more careful in this conditions,
I thought the road was dry, but it wasnt everywhere
but thinken is not good,.. we have to "know"..

Now I know that I will manage my problems,
and that God will help me fix this, he wanted to let me learn from my errors,
and change my personality to become a better person..

I have to change from being a freak and addicted person to a "lover"...
I must tread my life with respect and be happy I'm still here to write this message..
so maybe it can help other S2000 owners..

Good luck to you guys
and thank you
Greets from Belgium
You better go see a doctor, you might have a concussion by the way you write

Typical parochial, xenophobic US response - get a life and understand that there are cultures other than the US.

On second thoughts, I'm wrong, the US has no f....ing culture.

This poor guy comes here for advice and all some of you do is dump on him for the way he writes. Give him a break. He is from Belgium and English is not his first language. Frankly, I think he's expressing himself better than some members of this board.

Good luck to you, liemdao. Losing the back end of the car is common, unfortunately. I can imagine in a tunnel it was really terrifying. Try to learn from your experience and be thankful you are alive to tell your story.

Notes to self:

1) Do not shift at high speed on slick road in a tunnel!!

2) Americans are unsympathetic, ethno-centric fools...

I am proud to have served in the U.S. military, but more frequently embarassed by the perception fellow Americans are willing to allow those from other countries to have of us. Melting pot? Pah!

liemdao...I am praying for you and your loss...yes, it is "just money" and "just a car" as one poster wrote, but the mental anguish that can result from being in a financial bind can be devastating. You should be encouraged to know you can lean on God and your family during this time, however! Don't let depression beat you down.

As for it being "just a car..." for many of us, this car has been a fulfiling and significant part of our daily lives - to post in a message board alone confirms that it is an element of your life that has a significant impact! I hope - and pray - that you get the financial parts of this worked out, and that one day you find yourself behind the wheel of another S...having learned a lesson!!!!

Oh, and get winter tires and consider finding a local track day or S2000 GTG to get some hints and suggestions on how to enjoy the car safely
