Hope you recover real soon.
I have a friend who recovered from a coma, so I know what it's like.
Best of luck to you, man.

The body will amaze you. It has a way of repairing it's self that is almost mystical.

I'm sure that the old saying "Time heals all wounds" is going to apply in this situation.

You will recover and you will be ok.

Continue to push yourself everyday. Challenge your mind, stay mentally active, be positive, and stay exposed.

Best wishes and I'm glad that you're ok.

Wow. I live in Seattle now, but grew up off of Vale Rd. Crazy roads we have there in No. VA. Glad you are getting better. Question - Was the top down in the accident? I am always concerned about the hinge in the roof that is even with my head. Should a significant side impact occur that hinge is going to spit my head. It looks like your top was down though. Any idea if your head hit the door or dash?

Best of luck

Yes I do but not by memory, I only can remember things 3 hours prior to the accident. The police report came out but they found no one at fault. I went off the road with my rear passenger tire, which hit some big rocks and was flattened it looks like and I am guessing when I tried to get the car on the road again I spun out across the road. The reason it was found no fault was because they don't know what caused me to go off the road and is a very common place for people to go over the double yellow lines going the opposite direction of me.
An SUV hit me (don't know what kind) driven by 2 70 year olds, who were fine. A nurse who was infront of them stopped and held my head up until the med-evac came but I actually think she was the cause of me going off the road.
It seems she issued a false report (not to the police though) because she claimed to see me coming up to pass her and also the spin, which on that particular road it is impossible for to see both because there is a hill in the way.

Yes my top was down, but I have no idea what I hit my head on.

When I looked at the first picture I was l thinking "Oh this isn't bad, he must've been thrown from the car..." till I saw the passenger side!

Amazing how an accident and a lot of time surrounding it get blocked from peoples' memory when it's serious enough.
