Nevermind. I just went out in the parking lot and looked at the wheel caps and I guess they do have the border as well... It just doesn't show up because it's almost the same color as the wheel and they're way down by the ground. On the nose and tail badges up higher and set against my black paint it shows up (and disappears) very noticeably. Especially the nose badge because it's set at such an angle. I guess with the steering wheel where you're pretty much looking at it straight on it's probably not an issue.
