Default Advan RG Wheels???

Anyone here own this beautiful wheel?? I checked out their offset for the 18" and I think it is +43 for rear and +45 for the front. This is not going to work right??? Also for the 17", I think it's offsets are +50 for rear and +48 for front. You guys think 17" is the way to go?? I think those wheels looks so damn beautiful. Also, is there a lot of difference between 18" and 17" performance wise for street racing??? Finally, I wanted gunmetal colored wheels but Advan RG wheels only comes in gold and white. Is there any way I can change the color to gunmetal?? Any help would be appreciated.......

MDS2k, the S2k was damn with crazy offsets that limits us to very few wheels. Advan RG indeed is very nice looking wheel.. how wide was the 18? if it's something like 18x8.5 in the rear it would be close but it should clear it. if your car is lowered, then it most likely would clear. the 17s however is what I would go with.. less sprung weight means more responsive your suspension will respond to your driving inputs. as far as changing colors go.. I would look in to getting your wheels powder coated..it is much more durable then just painiting it. as well is more protection against rock chips.road debries etc.. hope this helps!

MDS2K,

First let me say that no one on this forum would condone "street racing". Several of us have seen or know of the tragic results. With regard to the wheels. The offsets you mentioned for the 17' are exactly the same as the one's on my 17' Volk Racing TE37's. So they will fit "properly". A lot of the owners of aftermarket wheels here said that 17' are better balanced for a Stook. I used what knowledge I have & the input from this forum to make my decision. 9K to heaven is correct in telling you to have wheels powdercoated if white or gold isn't acceptable. Good Luck!

the size was 18X8.5 for rear and 18X7.5 for front. I would like to drop my car so I guess 18" won't do it. If I decide I want Advan RG, I guess 17" is the way to go.....

Here are the pics for Advan RG wheels........
