Default ADVICE NEEDED!

Hi guys,

This is the deal. Yesterday I bought a 2004 Honda s2000 (grand prix white) with only 2185 miles. The previous owner drove the car once or twice per month and it was garage kept so it's in perfect condition. However, I am concerned about the fluids in the car since they have never been changed (except for oil change 2.5 years ago). I have an appointment on Friday to change the oil, transmission, coolant, and brake fluids. Am I missing anything? Also, do you think that having this old of fluid is goin to cause harm? I have been driving it and everything seems fine so I'm probably being paranoid. Thanks in advance for all replies and sorry for the essay....

if the car was kept in the garage, I wouldn't be too concerned with the tires. just visually inspect them for any signs of rotting/cracking to give yourself some piece of mind.

Thanks guys. I am very scared to be driving. Friday can't come soon enough! Also, do you think that since this car wasn't really properly broken in, I should be cautious the first few weeks an avoid going in vtec? Thanks again

You're fine. Per the manual, break in period is from approximately 600-1000 miles at under 5500 RPM. Your car is a low mileage gem, but should be plenty broken in as far as the engine is concerned. Just swap out all those fluids with good stuff, and enjoy your S! Welcome to the forum!
