lol, its the perfect daily driver. why drive something with a bunch of space if you only use that space 2-3 times a year? If anything buy it, and then buy something bigger on the side for a weekend vehicle, lol.

I DD mine (it's the only car i have, 21 y/o college student) and love it. I'm not to worried about things getting stolen. If people really want them, then so be it, thats the way it will be.

I don't have much of a commute, but drive mine all over the place. I've had it 4 months and put on 9500 miles. Get one. You won't regret it.

I'd get some Kodokan seat locks and call it a day. Also, for a DD, I'd look at 04 and newer - imo they are better in traffic and daily living.

I live in San Francisco and the road condition there is not all that great, but I never regret getting one. The experience in driving an S is crazy fun. Only bad part is once your in an S you would want to go fast, so you have to be careful there =/ heh I got my speeding ticket going on 280 @ 80mph =/. Damn cops. Well good luck with the buy. (If you are getting one).

Hey thanks a lot fellas, I appreciate all your input. I'm really leaning towards getting one. I haven't sat down on crunched numbers yet but I did do a test drive on Monday. It was my first time driving one and damn it is awesome.

I suggest driving a few cars before buying one. I live on the peninsula and commute down to santa clara all the time on 280. The S2K is fine for me as a driver. I actually ride down there with a motorcycle more often (better convertible).

The only thing to keep in mind is storage and what you can or can't bring with you.
