I don't see them slamming wes. I see them showing disappointment in tuners (even ones they thought were good) for not spending the time to learn how to tune the system. Any standalone engine management system takes time to learn. No matter who you are and what you know. Generally, people advise you to use whatever engine management system your tuner knows how to use because otherwise you'll get nowhere, even if you're using the latest, greatest system. This has not changed. But this is such a new system that none of the tuners know it yet.

Wes has been through a lot of shit, and I feel bad for him. But I don't think AEM dropped the ball so much as that this is just a case of growing pains as the tuners adapt to a new system.

Today was supposed to be the day... but some magazine sh!t came up, so we had to reschedule for next week. I haven't gotten a confirmation yet, but looks like the 17th.

 

I might be out of line, but I don't see this as a slam. First of all, he begins by saying that they made a mistake in marketing the thing as "plug and play." He clearly admits that.

Secondly, when he refers to the S2000 owner, I agree that he mischaracterizes Wes' situation. But we're not sure that he's referring to Wes. The truth is, we'll never know whether he was or wasn't referring to Wes. Yeah, he comes off as a bit of a smarmy guy, but he's obviously not a polished marketroid that has been groomed by publicists and lawyers. Otherwise he wouldn't accuse his own company of false advertising!

No, Actually I dont know anybody at all that lost 30HP AFTER installing an EMS.
