Default AEM V2

Well, I recently installed my AEM V2 and loved it for 3 weeks now I think it is causing an annoying whining sound, I have reinstalled it twice and there is nothing wrong with the install at all. So basically I was just wondering if anyone else has had an experience with the AEM that makes an annoying whining sound at low throttle, espescially in cruise control, so constant its driving me MAD
This could be something else in the car (I hope not) but just wondering if I should take it in or is this normal, thanks alot guys

I've had my v2 on for about 3 months now, and yes there is a whistle you can say at about 3grand and then ends at like 3500....is this similar to yours? I get it especially in 3rd only when cruising not when full throttle......seems to me its a harmless sound from the filter housing, or from the setup of the cai in the car's hood space.

thats just the sound of cai. my cold air does this all the time. if i hold a pedal consistently all the way thro the rpms it will do this. imo i think its normal. i also have this sound on my delsol with has a cai also.

Alright I have read about 400 threads on engine whine... My findings there are many s2ks that produce this whine, some louder than others, some with CAI some wiht stock box, some with stock box with top off, Sooooooo i guess it is normal, but I am astonished that there is no fix for this, being how anal (including myself ) S owners are. Well mine seems to be louder than most but seems to be exactly what others are experiencing in the past, so i guess i can relax but would love to know if there is fix for this? I am sure I will grow to love this new whine but man is it annoying and scary right now. For those reading my umpteenth post on engine whine thanks for your paitience . I am still very curious if there is a fix for this from the dealer, aftermarket throttle body? anything? THANKS FOR INPUT!

i dont think theres any way to fix it. i think its just maybe theres more air being sucked in. although i noticed that the whine used to be louder since my filter was new, it has since became quiter from the previous miles i put on. im guessing maybe the filter? i wouldnt worry about it if i were you. btw how do you like the V2 so far?

To shed some light onto this situation and to maintain continuity, I'm linking this thread started by the same user that has turned out to be a resolution to this issue:
