Default AEM CAI "V1" vs. V2

Hello everyone.

I currently have the standard "V1" CAI by AEM. Supposedly it reduces 8 lbs, and adds about 6-7 hp... It sounds nice and I'm happy with it. However, I have the opportunity to buy a V2 from a friend.
I'm sure I can get it for a couple hundred dollars, and sell mine for a little less, but I don't know if it's worth it. Assuming I can get the V2 installed myself (haha), would it be worth the extra money? How much more hp does it add? Does it sound better? All opinions are appreciated. TIA

I had a V1 on my last car (a CRV) and put a V2 on my S-2000. I noticed a gain in HP on the CRV since it was so underpowered but really just noticed a gain in throttle response and perhaps a bit smoother powerband for the S and a huge increase in intake sound when I VTEC. I really like the sound difference, especially since I also added a Fujitsubo exhaust. I doubt you would notice a hp gain from moving to the V2.

Thank you very much the info...
If I can get the V2 for what I can sell my CAI for I might do it! Haha, thanks...
