I got hooke dup witha free aem v2 froma friend. Is it a worthwhile mod, Ive read that the stock airbox is probably a better choice between the two. I know i will have to plug up the frain holes and fabricate an umbrella to prevent water from pooling at the intake elbow

can you point me to the thread that talks about the drain hole mod? i know the umbrella mod. I can just order the Injen heat shield, right? it will act as a umbrella so to speak. Anyways, I am torn between leaving the s2k stock or getting an intake. I know when my friend had the s2k and got the intake, whenever he wash his car, he would put a bag over the intake so it wouldn't get soaked. Anyways, let me know. Thanks
