Default AEM V2 CAI installed today!

I just installed my AEM V2 CAI today! Took around 4 hours, but well worth it! I noticed power increases in the entire rpm range, but mostly down low! I also noticed I stay in VTEC shifting from 1st to 2nd, but it does that if I go all the way up to 9K in first gear. Before the v2 was installed, when I would shift from 1st to 2nd at 9K, my rpms would drop to around 4500 rpms goin into 2nd. Now it drops to 6200rpms, keeping me in VTEC the whole time! No VTEC delay! I love it! Great sound too! But yah, great intake!

Wait, if you shifted from from 1st to 2nd at 9k, you'd drop all the way down to 4.5k? Sounds strange to me.

But glad you like the intake! I may get one eventually just for the sound.

well i'll be the first to say that's physically impossible. if you're getting a vtec delay in between gears regardless of what mods you have, you're not driving it right.

congrats on the intake tho. i hear it sounds the best out of all of them.

He could just be driving more aggresively now than he did before. I've noticed after people can hear the "fun" intake noise they tend to drive a bit differently.
