Aeroscreen without drilling?
Hi all,
well here in the UK we don't get that much opportunity to get the roof off, but whenever it's not raining, I have it down (even if I do freeze!) however the cabin noise on the motorway with the roof down is way too loud so i'm thinking of getting an aeroscreen. I've seen the honda one, seems a little low. I've seen a couple of other one's but would require me to drill big holes in my storage cabin to fit them.
Is there an aeroscreen which can be fitted without driller so I can remove it when I don't wnat it on there? Perhaps one that velcro's around the anti-roll bars or something?
Thanks in advance

you can buy one of mine and use a velcro, but i don't recommend it: it'll get loose. there's turbulence at high speeds, and it's quite rough on the aeroscreen if it's not secured. don't do it. get rick's replacement screen so you can fold it down.
mingster,
Are yours and ricks' replacement screens screw-in types again? Where can I get info on the two?
Thanks again

rick's screen replaces the "glass" portion (it's lexan) of the Honda screen, so you'll need to have a Honda screen to begin with.
mine is a complete replacement:
it bolts onto the same 2 holes Honda screen uses. if you have the Honda one already, i highly recommend rick's replacement screen. it's nicely done.

Hi Carljones. Obviously from your post you don't have the stock aeroscreen. I believe they're having a group buy on them right now, and you can then get Rick's taller screen (which does a way better job of keeping out the backdraft) than the shorter stock one. It's attached by two small bolts and nuts into the "secret compartment". A good idea might be to use wingnuts inside the compartment instead of the nuts (which make it pretty permanent). You can then take off the screen quite easily, whenever you like.
Check out the Group Buy and For Sale forum, or do a search for Rick's screen to get pics and all the details you'll ever need.

carljones,
Check this thread http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=4581 . I think it may be a solution.
