Default Aftercooler SC owners, a Question

Hi to all

I have recently installed the Comptech Aftercooler

I saw that the Comptech "Radiator" is pretty small indeed.

My major concern is safety, why? becasue I am in Spain and I do not have any support and shop that you in US have in order to solve a problem.

to do this I would like to reduce the boost as much as possible using colder air

So I was thinking to change the Comptech Radiator for a bigger one, like the Stock radatior, in order to archive a few PSi lower than now.

This increase on the size of the radiator would help to reduce the SC Stock Boost without lossing HP?

This is a very interesting question.....
Juan I would recommend you and other members to read this book....
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...=glance&s=books
OR
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...=glance&s=books
both of these books were written by Corky Bell... In one of the chapters it does discuss in depth theoretical calculations on how to figure out a good cooler....
The book is in my office and I cannot help answer your question.... I will try and answer it on monday....
BTW.... Instead of guessing if you are concerned about safety, why dont you just get a wide band O2 sensor with display...hook it up and just monitor you AFR.........

Beroz.......
