Thumbs up Aftermarket battery

In my quest to shave more weight off my S2000, I am learning towards buying an aftermarket lightweight battery. I have a number of options, to include the following:

1. Spoon, 13.5 lbs, $155
2. Odyssey PC680, 14.5 lbs, $80
3. Buddy Club, ??? lbs, $127

Any suggestions?

Will buying a new battery fix the wierd idling problem I get sometimes when in neutral with my foot on the brake and clutch at a signal light? It seems to idle down and the shift knob shakes a little bit when I so idle abnormally like the engine is about to die.

It's not your electrical system that's causing this. It's your ECU having a brain fart when conditions change. Give it a chance to learn without you using the gas to "help" it when it dips down like that. If it doesn't learn after a few episodes then start looking for fixes. And the fix won't be a new battery.
