Aftermarket Flywheel Weight

I also recommend J's Racing flywheel which is designed to gain power/torque in the whole range of the rpm's.
A lightened flywheel reduces drivetrain losses. Does not really affect power at the crank, just what goes to the wheels. I believe a lightened flywheel also REDUCES torque, as there is less rotational inertia (I could be WAY off on that one).

I think jwa4378 has replied already to your question. Thats why J's Racing has developed the optimum flywheel (according to my J's Racing whore opinion) which gives a "balanced gain" in the entire field of rpms.
Hope I was understood there with my english.

not sure wether you're right or not. .but launching a car with a lightweight flywheel requires more revs because of the fact there's less rotational inertia. the car will accelerate/deccelerate quicker tho, so i guess it's just a matter of getting used to it.
it would probably work great. only reason i see not to get one on the s is if you're turbo. they operate on engine load, i wouldn't want to reduce load by going with a lightweight flywheel. and also, turbo+flywheel = very difficult launch. there's a very very small line between bog and up in smoke.
