Have you tried the key? maybe wiggle the trunk lid while turning the key. Good Luck

i didnt do the key hole. didnt even drill the hole and install it. i guess only thing i can do is wiggle the trunk lid while having someone keep pressing the open trunk button..

but is there any other way to get to the trunk? i tried to go through the back of the passenger seat but the spare tire is completely blocking the way..

So, unscrew the wingnut on top and move it.

But losing the trunk is a small price to pay for the 1/2 pound weight savings and the cooooool look of carbon fiber!

Wouldn't you have gotten *real* weight savings by ditching the spare instead?

But like Pete said... unscrew the wingnut... get a small friend... and a good flashlight.
