Default Air leak in the ragtop

Just took my car in to get an air leak checked out, gillman honda did a fine job aligning the top, didnt have to order or install any parts, done in 2 1/2 hours, but they also drove my car for 20miles, i thought that was really shitty, when i took the car on the access road to show the service writer, the air leak it took maybe 2 miles, couldnt tell if they took my car joyridn, but i wouldnt doubt it, i wrote the mileage on the palm of my hand thats how i was sure.

When I take my car to the deal I always reset the trip "b" to zero and flip it back to "a". It shows you how many miles they drive your car without getting ink on yourself.

I had the same problem and the replaced the latches and it fine now, the air leak occurred at 60+.

Just a quick question... I hear air leaking in at about 88+ is this normal or should I have them check it out..

I just figured it was normal for that high of speed... Please let me know..

The times I have detected a air leak I simply used the silicone lube on the seals as specified in the owners manual. Since my car does not seem to have a problem requiring adjustment using the silicone has always solved the problem.

I used the silicon... I just have a feeling if I tell my dealer the roof leaks some air when I am doing 100, they are going to say it is normal...

Just wanted some insight on whether or not it is normal... Or do I need to adjust the top and/or latches..

Then, you look at the Service Write up, and it has the miles the car had on it when you took it in for service...

A few miles is okay....over 10 is a no, unless there is a good reason to drive my car that far for service....(wouldn't know what that reason would be, but better be a good one...)

Plus I don't think the tech would reset both, and if they did, I would have to question them why the trips were reset....

I wouldn't want the service tech cruising at 100 mph to find a noise in my car.
Others on this board hand write the milage on the service ticket where it's clearly noticeable, then they place a sticky note on the dashboard with the same number.
